"I was sceptical — I'd been burned by an agency before who took months and delivered something generic. This was completely different. Clear, fast, and the site genuinely gets us enquiries."
Where it
all began
"I watched brilliant local businesses lose customers every day — not because their work was poor, but because their website made them look like they didn't care."
Growing up in the Midlands, I was surrounded by independent businesses. The family butcher on the high street. The plumber everyone called. The local café that had been there for thirty years. These weren't faceless corporations — they were people who cared deeply about what they did, served their communities, and took genuine pride in their craft.
When I started learning web design, I kept noticing the same thing: the big agencies were building expensive, over-complicated websites for big brands. Meanwhile, the local businesses that actually needed help — the ones in Burton, Derby, Stafford, Lichfield, Tamworth — were either stuck with a website a nephew built in 2014, or being charged agency prices for something generic that didn't reflect who they really were.
So I made a decision: focus entirely on local businesses across Staffordshire, Derbyshire, and the wider Midlands. Not the whole country. Not faceless e-commerce. The tradesperson in Uttoxeter. The restaurant in Derby city centre. The beauty salon in Tamworth. The accountant in Lichfield. The builder in Swadlincote.
People who work hard, serve their community, and deserve a website that actually does the same for them.
Every website I build carries the same belief: that a local business with a brilliant product or service should never lose a customer because their website let them down. Your website should work as hard as you do. That's not a tagline — it's the reason this business exists.
